Unpacking the Schaeffer Library Archives

The Schaeffer Fine Arts Library's inaugural research interns present on their work exploring and cataloguing the Library's rich art archives.
This seminar will introduce three undergraduate students who participated in the Schaeffer Fine Arts Library internship, which took place in Semester one of 2025.
The students will present on their work in the Schaeffer Library honing their skills in metadata enrichment and archival cataloguing, with a focus on the Noel Gray Artist Book Collection and the Sherman Galleries Ephemera Collection.
The presentations will be followed by a tour of a set of exhibitions the students have created showcasing their archival findings.
Part of the Art History Seminar Series, convened by Mary Roberts, and presented by the discipline of art history at the University of Sydney, with support from the Power Institute.

Alisa Prasnicki
